Third mission / Artistic practice and social responsibility

From university to the world.
From the world to university.

Theoretical research, teaching and international professional practice are part of the same work. Design studios, degree theses, internships and collaborations with students and universities are places of exchange: design tests ideas, while practical experience reshapes them and brings them back into teaching.

This circular exchange gives shape to the university’s third mission: sharing knowledge and tools, turning them into opportunities for places and communities, and engaging with questions arising from the real world. The artistic dimension of design is thus intertwined with social responsibility.
